Ice cream role for Graham’s new recruit

Pauline WrightScotland’s largest independently owned dairy company, Graham’s, has announced that Pauline Wright appointed will become business development manager.

Born in New Zealand and educated in Scotland, Ms Wright joins Graham’s from Orkney Creamery.  Her career has taken her through a number of varied senior marketing and business development roles.

These include from more than 22 years with the Royal New Zealand Navy. At the Orkney Creamery she was the business development manager responsible for its core Orkney ice cream brand in Scotland and the north-east of England.

She has been brought on board by Graham’s to focus on its new range of ice creams delivering the launch as well as supporting product innovation and customer management.

Robert Graham, managing director of Graham’s, said:  “Pauline will be a real asset to our team with her wealth of experience and track record in the industry.  She will support Mark McQuade, Graham’s newly appointed commercial director on business development concentrating initially on the launch of Graham’s new range of ice creams.”

Ms Wright said: “The new ice cream launch provides an excellent opportunity to help grow the brand and strengthen Graham’s position in the marketplace and I’m relishing the challenges this will bring.”
