Wickerman, the summer festival based around the film of the same name, has revealed that The Waterboys and singer songwriter Tom Odell will be headlining the Summerisle stage in July.

It will be the biggest Scottish festival appearance this year for The Waterboys (picture shows Mike Scott) who will perform from their extensive back catalogue alongside new material from their recently released album Modern Blues.

Ivor Novello and Brit Awards winning Tom Odell will appear on the main stage. His 2013 debut album Long Way Down shot straight to number one.

Joining them will be the chart topping Example & DJ Wire. They have 25 top 40 hits.

The Wickerman Festival has appointed Synergy Concerts, one of Scotland’s leading independent promoters for the event which takes place on 24 and 25 July.
