Last laugh for cartoonists at Scotsman titles

Scotsman titleCartoonists at the three Johnston Press titles in Edinburgh have had the last laugh.

Iain Green, Brian Adcock and Frank Boyle, who produced work for the The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and Evening News are the latest to exit the papers in a seemingly relentless cost-cutting exercise.

Picture editor at Scotland on Sunday Alan Macdonald, well known for his whistling and singing around the office, has also taken a redundancy package.

Green and Boyle were contributors to the papers for almost 16 years, Adcock for ten.
