Tie-up with Black & Lizars
Elliot Rhodes luxury belts to launch in Scotland
It will take half the space in Black & Lizars’ premises in George Street.
Elliot Rhodes’ stores in Covent Garden, Chelsea and St Christopher’s Place in London, as well as Osaka in Japan and Zurich in Switzerland, attract an international clientele.
It will maintain a presence in George Street until the autumn when it is likely to move to Black & Lizars’ new flagship store in Frederick Street. The brand is also exploring opportunities in Glasgow.
Justin Rhodes, who founded Elliot Rhodes in 2004, said: “Black & Lizars’s store in George Street is very contemporary and ideally suited to the display of high-end fashion accessories.
“We have installed a major branded display area and our senior staff have engaged in intensive training sessions with Black & Lizars staff, who already have a comprehensive retail expertise and are comfortable with dealing with an international clientele.”
Elliot Rhodes has grown a strong niche market with its quirky store design, unique interchangeable system, on-site custom sizing and one-to-one customer consultancy.
Mark Ross, chief executive of Black & Lizars, said: “We are very pleased to invite a brand of such international stature as Elliot Rhodes to share our space in Edinburgh.”
