Snowdon appointed to head Times in Scotland

Les Snowdon, former editor of Scotland on Sunday and The Sunday Times Scotland, is returning to Scotland to edit the Scottish edition of The Times.

Snowdon, currently Sports Editor of The Daily Mail, will succeed veteran Scottish journalist Angus Macleod who sadly died, aged 63, in October after a short illness.

Snowdon has worked as deputy sport editor of The Sunday Times and began his career as a photographer. He left Scotland on Sunday in 2009 to take up his current role.
