Juniper hosts media night ahead of revamp
Standard Life kicked off the Christmas party season on Tuesday night with a gathering of media guests at the Juniper bar, Twenty Princes Street, Edinburgh.
Sadly, organiser Patricia Corrigan couldn’t join the fun as she was struck down by the lurgy. However, her Standard Life colleagues were there, including head honcho Barry Cameron who is rumoured to be close to an announcement of his own.
The bar and restaurant have proved a big hit since opening last summer with a series of accolades, including Best New Restaurant in Scotland at the recent Scottish Variety Awards, and Rising Star Bar for Juniper.
In the new year both will close temporarily – from 26 January to 16 February – as the facilities undergo a transformation to create the boutique Hotel Indigo.
