Hampden & Co sees income soar on uplift in deposits and lending

Hampden & Co, the Edinburgh-based private bank, has seen continued strong growth in lending and deposits over the half year to the end of June.
Deposits increased by 39% to £95m while lending was 44% higher at £47m. This translated to income growth of 48% compared to the same period last year.
CEO, Graeme Hartop, pictured, said: “We continue to strengthen our banking teams in Edinburgh and London to match our financial growth and we feel confident as we head into the second half of the year.”
