Sturzaker merges Talking Canvas with Low’s Indigo
Indigo, the Leith-based public relations company, has absorbed the small Edinburgh firm Talking Canvas.
The combined business will trade as Indigo with Elaine McKean, its managing director, continuing at the helm.
Jacqui Low is the founder and executive chairman of Indigo which this year celebrates its 21st year in business.
Little-known Talking Canvas, founded three years ago by Nicki Sturzaker, has a number of clients, though it recently lost the account for Coulters, the estate agency and legal firm. Ms Sturzaker formerly ran the Edinburgh office of the Big Partnership, but was fired in 2013 and later worked briefly for Stripe Communications, leaving soon after taking up a senior appointment.
A statement and photograph promoting the expanded Indigo company was sent to Daily Business on behalf of Ms Low and Ms Sturzaker. In view of Ms Sturzaker’s behaviour towards the editor of Daily Business it has been decided not to publish further details of this merger.
