Party at George Hotel
20th birthday bash for CompanyNet
Business intelligence firm CompanyNet marked 20 years in business with a party at the George Hotel, Edinburgh, for staff, clients and friends.
The company, founded by Kevin Grainger and Neil Francis, has grown to a business worth £3 million with contracts for major international businesses including BP, Coca Cola, Disney and Microsoft.
It provides a range of connectivity packages including websites, intranets and document sharing tools.
It employs 48 staff in George St and at its office in St Vincent St, Glasgow, and the party was a way of thanking all those who had contributed to its growth.
Andy Hamilton, chief executive, has been with the company for 10 years and said it now shared a general problem in the sector of finding staff.
“It’s nice to celebrate a milestone like this from a position of strength,” he said. “We’re always on the lookout for good people.”
