Strain and Davies bolster Davidson Chalmers

Alan StrainLaw firm Davidson Chalmers has appointed Alan Strain as partner to lead its employment team.

Mr Strain is currently a partner and head of employment with Mullins, in Brisbane, Australia. He was previously an employment partner and head of litigation at Biggart Baillie, and latterly headed the employment team at DLA Piper Scotland.

He also served as an employment judge with the Employment Tribunal Service in Scotland until January 2014.

Jenny Davies joined the firm as a senior solicitor in the environmental, waste and renewables department. Ms Davies, currently with West Lothian Council, has a wide range of expertise and experience in dealing with property related issues both in the public and private sectors.  Prior to joining the Council she worked with Burges Salmon in Bristol and Burness Paull in Edinburgh.
